Do You And Your Date Have A Perfect Match?

Do You And Your Date Have A Perfect Match?

How do you know you and your partner are perfect for each other? After the physical attraction and the initial romance start to fade, how will you evaluate your relationship and see if it's going to go happily ever after?

Many dating experts suggest you look at the following key areas to see if you and your partner are headed in the same direction:

1. Physical appearance

Not many people know that being physically attracted to each other affects a relationship in its entire duration. You need to see if being physically attractive is important for both of you. If you're the athletic type, how do you feel about a partner who hates going to the gym?

2. Emotional maturity

How much emotional baggage are you both bringing into the relationship? How do you relate to other people who are also important to your partner? Do any of you have control issues?

3. Lifestyle choices

Do you have common interests? Can you blend your social lives together? Do you enjoy the same leisure activities?

4. Financial compatibility

Do you have the same attitude when it comes to money? Can you strike a balance between your different spending habits?

5. Value structure

Do you share the same values? How do both of you feel about the significance of things like honesty, integrity, loyalty, views on family and children, religion and spirituality, life goals and the treatment and care for others?

6. Marriage and intimacy

What are your expectations from marriage? Do you both want close intimacy beyond the physical aspect?

7. Intelligence

Are you of similar education levels? Do you have the same intellectual interests? What about your career goals, do they at least complement each other? What topics do you enjoy talking about?

You don't have to match exactly in each area, but you need to see that you match closely enough in the important areas of your life.
